Government-Provided Assistance
No matter how serious your loved one’s injury is, it’s a good time to start looking for help to get them home and back into their community. You might need to change your loved one’s current home to make it easier for them to move around, or even find a new place that is already set up to be easy to use. Finding help and making these changes can take a while, and your loved one might even leave the hospital’s rehabilitation program faster than you expect. How much financial support you can get for these changes depends a lot on your loved one’s health insurance and if they can get help from the government or other places.
