Living Successfully with Spinal Cord Injury
Going back home after special hospital care is a very big change for people with a spinal cord injury and their families. It often takes a long time to get used to a new way of living and new daily routines. Everyone involved needs to be patient, strong, and ready to try new things. However, after a while, families usually find a good rhythm, and daily life feels easier to handle. This is a great time to start thinking about new things to do, or try to do things that seemed too hard before. This could be going back to work, finding a new job, or getting back to roles you had in your community before.
